Team news:
Huddersfield Town
Mark Lillis has been told by the Huddersfield board that he is still in temporary charge of first-team affairs as they continue the search for a new boss after Mark Robins left after the first match of the season.
The Terriers picked up their first league points of the season with a 2-1 win over Reading at the Madjeski Stadium on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Jacob Butterfield and Harry Bunn.
Town skipper Lee Peltier is still struggling with a groin injury and winger Danny Ward could also miss out due to a back problem.
Anthony Gerrard (calf), James Vaughan (calf), Joe Lolley (hip) and Martin Paterson (knee) are still receiving treatment.
Charlton Athletic
Charlton are currently enjoying an unbeaten start to the season after a summer of upheaval and new boss Bob Peeters told the BBC the mindset of his players need to change.
After kicking off the season with a 1-1 draw against Brentford, the Addicks have beaten both promotion favourites Wigan and Derby as well as hammering Colchester United in the Capital One Cup.
Striker George Tucudean needs a fitness check after going off at half time in the win over Derby with a knee injury.
Goalkeeper Nick Pope could start against the Terriers after Stephen Henderson missed the match against the Rams due to a hamstring problem.
Chris Solley could return at right-back after being left out of the midweek fixture due to a troublesome knee.
Head-to-Head
Huddersfield and Charlton played four matches against each other last season, the last being in the league when the two played out a goalless draw at the Valley back in March.
Charlton's last visit to Huddersfield was in the FA Cup in January when a Simon Church goal put the Addicks through to the fourth round.
Huddersfield won the last league fixture at the John Smith's Stadium when James Vaughan and Joel Lynch scored in a 2-1 win.
The Terriers have won four, drawn two and lost three of the last nine league meetings in Huddersfield and just outscore Charlton by 12 goals to 11.
