Match Preview - Watford v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Sean Makin on 30/08/2014
Watford v Huddersfield Town, Saturday 30 August, Vicarage Road, 3pm kick-off.
Team News:
Huddersfield Town:
Town will be looking to bounce back from the midweek defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Capital One Cup.
But interim boss Mark Lillis will be without defenders Tommy Smith and Lee Peltier, who are struggling with groin injuries.
Jonathan Hogg, Oscar Gobern and Joe Lolley are still out injured.
Radoslaw Majewski is back in the fold after he was cup-tied for the defeat to Forest on Tuesday night.
James Vaughan may start as he nears match fitness and Nahki Wells should be available for selection after shaking off a knock to his ankle.
Watford:
Watford have hit the ground running after winning three of their first four matches and sit second in the Championship table.
Manager Giuseppe Sannino has defender Joel Ekstrand back from suspension after he served a three-match ban following his dismissal in
Watford's only league defeat to Norwich City.
Sannino is likely to restore much of the line-up that beat Leeds last Saturday after he made nine changes for Tuesday's League Cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers.
He will face a selection problem as Fernando Forestieri helped his cause with two goals last week but Matej Vydra is also pushing for a start.
Forestieri is more likely to partner Troy Deeney up front for the Hornets.
