A Yorkshire derby will take place at the New York Stadium on Boxing Day as Huddersfield Town make the 30-mile trip to face fellow Championship strugglers Rotherham United.Match Preview: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town

The pair sit in 19th and 20th place in the table on the same number of points but the Millers are just ahead of the Terriers on goal difference.

Town boss Chris Powell is looking for a reaction from his players after a poor 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City last Saturday, which is their second loss on the bounce after being hammered 5-0 by Norwich City a week prior.

Rotherham grabbed a vital win on Saturday as they beat Wigan Athletic 2-1 at the DW Stadium - which was their first win in 10 matches.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans could name an unchanged side for the fourth game running.

Frazer Richardson and Richard Wood have both returned to training after injuries but are unlikely to feature against Huddersfield.

Town defender Murray Wallace returns from suspension and Harry Bunn is likely to keep his place ahead of James Vaughan who is pushing for a start.

Goalkeeper Joe Murphy is still a doubt with a foot injury.

This is the first meeting between the two since November 2010 when Huddersfield beat Rotherham 5-2 in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

This is the first league meeting since February 2007 when a Luke Beckett brace gave the Terriers a 3-2 win at Millmoor.

October 1992 was the last time Rotherham beat Huddersfield. The Millers haven't beaten the Terriers in 11 meetings since.

Rotherham have not won any of their last five home matches, drawing three and losing two.

Huddersfield have only won once in their last seven games and have not won any of their last six away matches - losing the last four.
