Preview - Huddersfield Town v Ipswich Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Sean Makin on 05/04/2015
A win for Huddersfield Town would take them a step nearer towards securing Championship status for another season while victory for Ipswich could propel them back into the top six.
But the Terriers are without a win in their last six, having not tasted victory since the 3-0 win over Reading on February 24, drawing three and losing three of their last six.
It took a last-minute strike from Ishmael Miller to rescue a point against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday but they are fortunate to have a nine point cushion over the relegation places.
Manager Chris Powell has no new injury worries and could select the same XI for the second game running but midfielder Jonathan Hogg could make a return.
Ipswich Town suffered a difficult March but a 1-0 win over play-off rivals Watford before the international break has kept the Tractor Boys in contention for promotion.
This was followed by a 1-1 draw with second-place Bournemouth which leaves Mick McCarthy's side in seventh place on 68 points.
McCarthy is still without defender Tyrone Mings, who serves the second game of a two-match suspension, which means loan signing Zeki Fryers is set to continue in his absence.
Darren Ambrose and Jonathan Parr are both suffering from hamstring injuries and are unlikely to feature.
The earlier meetings between the two sides finished 2-2 at Portman Road in October but Ipswich won the last meeting at Huddersfield 2-0 in April.
The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in their last six meetings with the Terriers, winning three. Huddersfield's last win against them was in November 1999.
